Clinical Director - Jean Garvin School:

Provide clinical leadership to the school, assuring best practices are adhered to within the field of behavioral and mental health treatment for children. This includes staff supervision and training, guidance and oversight of all clinical aspects of treatment services, assuring adherence to best practices and representation of the program within the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical oversight and supervision in the development and delivery of behavior treatment services for youth.
  • Finding, developing and training staff in evidence based SEL and therapeutic curriculum/programming
  • Develop protocols to address specific problematic behaviors (i.e. self-harming, substance use, truancy)
  • Connecting school with community partners to provide opportunities for students.
  • Helping to identify and establish criteria for successful student transitions (graduation, transition back to school of origin, tech programs, etc.)
  • Attend team meetings periodically and as necessary.
  • Work with Program Director to monitor community needs and continue to develop program model accordingly.
  • Acting Director in the absence of the Director.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree
  • Clinical License in Mental Health or Social Work
  • Valid driver's license and use of a personal vehicle
  • 5 years of experience in behavioral treatment of children and families and the use of ABA treatment protocols
  • Supervisory experience
  • Fingerprints

Licensing Requirement Notice:

Vermont regulation mandates that if you do not hold a valid license then you must be on the Roster of Nonlicensed & Noncertified Psychotherapists before you can be hired for work in this position. If you are not yet on the Roster, please begin the process immediately to avoid delay in hiring. Note this process may take 3-5 days for in-state applications and up to several weeks for out-of-state applications. Instructions can be found on the website for the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation.

Structure:

  • Full time (37.5 hours)
  • Exempt
  • Salary starting at $77,295
  • We offer a competitive salary commensurate to experience
