Interventionist - Community Based - Early Childhood Program

Interventionist-Early Childhood:

Support children in the community to grow and learn skills specific to their development.

The Early Childhood Program offers home-based parenting education and training to caregivers, and young children and family providers, as well as supportive counseling for children.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate skill building activities for children while managing the environment to ensure safe interaction within the setting
  • Address goals of the child's treatment plan
  • Ensure the highest level of supervision is provided
  • Be an active member of the child's treatment team

Requirements:

  • Combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Experience in human services or a caretaking field, with emphasis on children with special needs
  • A valid driver's license and use of a personal vehicle

Structure:

  • Full time (37.5 hours)
  • AFSCME Union
  • Non-exempt
  • Starting at $20.52 hourly rate
  • We offer a competitive salary commensurate to experience
