Maintenance Specialist

We have an opening for an experienced Maintenance Specialist to provide both routine and complex maintenance support services to multiple Howard Center sites throughout the state. To be considered for this position you must have specialized skills required to perform specialty jobs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide routine and complex maintenance support services and accomplish tasks in the building trades
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and vendors
  • Addresses specialized projects and high priority and complex Job Order Requests
  • Participate in Risk Management; and identify, correct and monitor safety and health standards
  • Participates in the rotation of 24-hour emergency response
  • Coordinate and implement moves
  • Provide training and instruction regarding building operations
  • Administrative tasks such as Job Orders, Activity Logs, Purchase Orders

Requirements:

  • Three years' experience in general maintenance
  • Two years' experience in a specialty area
  • Valid driver's license
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Structure:

  • Full-time
  • Non-exempt
  • Starting at $22.66 an hour
  • We offer a competitive salary commensurate to experience
