Cook - Crisis Stabilization Residential

The Cook provides for the planning and preparing of nutritionally balanced meals for residents. The cook also interacts with residents during meal times, talking with them about better eating habits and their activities of daily living.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals, being mindful of clients' food preferences
  • Maintain safe food handling and serving practices
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Order and purchase supplies, staying within budget
  • Engage in positive, healthy interactions with clients

Requirements:

  • Experience with food preparation, purchasing of food and supplies, and budgeting
  • Valid driver's license and use of a personal vehicle

Structure:

  • Part time (20 hours)
  • Non- Exempt
  • $21.40/ hour
