Interventionist - Community Based - Youth ARCh

Offer 1:1 community-based support and guidance to individuals ages 4-22. Develop programs focused on goals directed towards emotional regulation and independent living skills.

The ARCh program exhibits a commitment to community inclusion, self-determination, and individualized growth for people with developmental disabilities and/or emotional disturbance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a broad spectrum of services to educate individuals on life skills
  • Development and initiate skill-building activities
  • Use strong judgement skills for crisis intervention

Requirements:

  • A combination of experience and education will be considered
  • De-escalation skills
  • Time management as this position can be working with up to 10 families per week
  • Valid driver's License and use of a personal vehicle

Structure:

  • Full time (37.5 hours)
  • Monday - Friday between the hours of 11a.m. to 7p.m.
  • Non-exempt
  • AFSCME Union
  • Starting at $20.52 an hour
