Senior Interventionist - School Based - Baird & INCLUSION

Senior Interventionist - INCLUSION:

A Senior Interventionist provides instructional and behavioral treatment for children with emotional, behavioral, and/or developmental disabilities, AND provides administrative support to a team of Interventionists.

The INCLUSION Program provides intensive, individualized support to Chittenden County children in grades K-12 with serious emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges who have not been able to be served with the most intensive public school-based supports.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct Service
  • Crisis Intervention
  • Mentoring new staff
  • Scheduling Interventionists
  • Responding to scheduling challenges

Requirements:

  • Use of personal vehicle with clean driving record
  • Combination of experience, skills and/or education
  • Starting at $23.42/ hour

Structure:

  • Full-time
  • 217 day annual calendar including:
    • School year (175 days) with paid days off during school vacations
    • 4 week summer program
    • 2+ weeks in-service for ongoing professional development
  • AFSCME Union (dues will apply)
  • Starting range $23.42/ hour
