Clinician - ASSIST

The ASSIST Program is seeking enthusiastic and caring people to join our team. This is an excellent position for someone who is detail oriented, wants to increase their experience in the mental health field, and likes a fast-paced atmosphere. Full-Time and SUB shifts available.

ASSIST provides a 6-bed residential setting for crisis respite and stabilization services.  ASSIST is a hospital diversion program that is staffed 24/7/365 supporting clients as they are transitioning from inpatient to outpatient services or stabilizing from personal crises. Staff supervise and monitor clients to ensure structure and safety, provide group intervention and individual support, and offer case management and therapeutic services.

Responsibilities:

  • Running therapeutic groups for clients in crisis 
  • Preparing meals
  • Collaborating with the medical treatment team
  • Monitoring psychiatric symptoms of clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-2 years' experience in related field for 40 hour full-time positions (1 overnight required)
  • Valid driver's license, registered vehicle and automobile insurance that complies with agency policies
  • Positive attitude.
