Autism Specialist Supervisor:

The Autism Specialist Supervisor provides clinical and administrative supervision to assigned Autism Specialists. Supervise assigned clinical staff regarding the development and delivery of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and all other position responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision to team of Autism Specialists
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of individualized instruction, behavior modification and the integration of programs for clients
  • Train direct service staff as needed
  • Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services and oversight of ABA service delivery
  • Facilitate the scheduling and coordination of treatment services between program staff, parents/caregivers, school personnel and related service providers
  • Maintain community partner relationships
  • Provide initial and ongoing assessments as needed
  • Oversee data collection and documentation requirements and produce/utilize graphs and reports to drive programming
  • Assure proper use and implementation of Electronic Health Records and Medicaid requirements
  • Provide ASD consultation to schools, families or other team members as directed.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree required in a related field
  • Two years' experience in Applied Behavior Analysis and children with Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Four years' experience in overseeing all aspects of Applied Behavior Analysis programming for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • Fingerprints: NCPA
  • Valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and use of a personal vehicle

Licensing Requirement Notice:

Vermont regulation mandates that if you do not hold a valid license then you must be on the Roster of Nonlicensed & Noncertified Psychotherapists before you can be hired for work in this position. If you are not yet on the Roster, please begin the process immediately to avoid delay in hiring. Note this process may take 3-5 days for in-state applications and up to several weeks for out-of-state applications. Instructions can be found on the website for the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation.

  • Full time (37.5 hours)
  • Exempt
