Supervisor - School Services

Are you interested in leadership and in approaching clinical work in new ways?  School Services is seeking a full time supervisor. 

The School Services Program helps children, ages 3-22 and their families address challenges so that children can experience healthy development and school success.  School Services Clinicians act as the link between home, school and community in order to promote and support students' overall school and social success. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervisory support and expertise to Master's level School Services Clinicians and school treatment teams while utilizing a clinical school social work model.
  • Contribute to program development to ensure best practices are being utilized and to ensure policies, practices, and procedures are implemented in accordance with agency and program missions.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with school and district partners
  • Analyze and oversee outcome data collection and reporting processes to assess efficacy of service delivery and to appropriately communicate with stakeholders the corresponding successes, challenges, trends, and needs of client families and schools.
  • Consult with internal and external providers as needed in order to provide the best services possible to client families and school partners.
  • Provide administrative support to supervisees and program.
  • Design and implement training for staff, school colleagues, and community partners as needed.
  • Participate in agency-wide and children's services initiatives, helping to improve systems issues and to create a more integrated system of care.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or related field
  • One of the following clinical licenses, held for 3 years: LICSW, LCMHC, Licensed Clinical Psychologist
  • Supervisory as well as school-based professional mental health experience
  • Minimum 3 years post-masters professional experience
  • 3-5 years experience working directly in schools (or significant collaboration with school teams)
  • Demonstrated strong leadership, communication, collaboration, clinical, and organizational expertise
  • Use of a personal vehicle and a clean driving record

Structure:

  • This is a full time, benefit eligible position
  • This is an exempt position
