Residential Counselor

Work within one of our 22 residential programs to support children or adults with acute mental health crisis, mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or developmental disabilities. Residential Counselors create safe environments, model positive interactions, assist with medication administration, implement client specific care plans, and assist with the upkeep of the residence.


  • Provide supportive counseling, medication management, and crisis intervention, as needed 
  • Help residents strengthen coping and symptom management skills 
  • Help maintain the overall functioning and cleanliness of the house
  • Work with residents developing or maintaining independent living skills as necessary


  • A combination of experience, skills and/or education in working with individuals that experience mental health challenges, substance use disorders and/or intellectual disabilities or Autism Spectrum Disorder, or another human services field
  • Valid driver's license, use of a personal vehicle, and an acceptable driving record. 


  • Full or part time schedules available
  • This is a non-exempt position
  • This is a union position
