Residential Counselor - Park Street

The Park Street Program is a residential treatment program in Rutland, VT specializing in therapy for adolescent males who have engaged in sexually harmful behaviors. Programming is family centered and trauma informed.

Residential Counselors maintain a healthy living environment by providing supervision, modeling healthy interactions, and responding safely to crisis. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop healthy, therapeutic relationships with residents
  • Coordinate/implement behavior plans
  • Assess/adjust the milieu to ensure proper supervision and crisis management
  • Communication and Documentation of treatment progress

Requirements:

  • 1 year's combination of skills, experience and/or education
  • Valid driver's License and use of a personal vehicle

Structure:

  • This is an hourly position, at $18.37/hour
  • This is a full time
  • This is a union-position
