Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner:

Provide psychiatric consultation, clinical leadership and direct care to assigned services. This care includes diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess individual patient needs and provide treatment per NP protocols in collaboration with treatment team
  • Coordinate patient care with outside providers
  • Perform indirect care (phone calls, conferences with other members of the team)
  • Implement, evaluate, and develop nursing policies
  • Rotate on-call coverage
  • Attend meetings as applicable

Requirements:

  • Master's degree
  • Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification
  • Completion of accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner training

Structure:

  • Part Time, 16 hrs/wk
  • Non-Exempt
