Project Hire Assistant Coordinator

The Project Hire Assistant Coordinator offer leadership, supervision, expertise and assessment to those providing supported employment services through employment case management (Employment Advisors) and direct support (Job Coaches).  In addition, this position will provide direct coverage while in hiring process.

Project Hire provides individualized employment supports and career development to assist individuals in finding and maintaining employment. 

Essential Functions

  • Recruit, train and provide clinical based supervision to employment staff
  • Ensure client and program related documentation is accurate, timely and meets agency standards.
  • Plan with clients and their teams for referrals from external agencies and those transitioning from high school into the Project Hire program
  • Facilitate, mediate and troubleshoot conflicts that arise between clients, families, contracted providers, staff, employers, and other agencies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Exhibits commitment to philosophy of community inclusion, self- determination, and individual growth for people with Intellectual disabilities or Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Three years' experience working in human services with at least two years working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or Autism.
  • Valid driver's license and use of a personal vehicle 

Structure:

  • Full time (37.5 hours)
  • Exempt
  • Starting at $47,643
