Program Coordinator - Peer Support Services

Provide leadership, operational oversight, and direct the coordination and delivery of Peer Support Services. This position offers a blend of leadership, supervisory responsibilities, direct service, and is a vital part of expanding and integrating peer support services throughout the organization. Peer Support Services offer intervention and support to clients that is informed by both lived experience and specialized training. The work incorporates and reflects the principles and tasks of Intentional Peer Support.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures to ensure effective delivery of service
  • Recruit, train and supervise staff and interns
  • Budget oversight in collaboration with leaders and/or funders
  • Complete administrative tasks including client documentation, incident reporting, auditing, performance evaluations, quarterly reports, community referrals, etc.
  • Liaison to community partners; provide training and education; participation on internal or external committees or teams
  • Direct service with clients as needed
  • Rotation in on call supervisor coverage and shift coverage is expected as needed

Requirements:

  • Lived/living experience of life interrupting trauma, mental health challenges or substance misuse
  • Combination of related education and experience; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Three years' relevant experience
  • Supervisory and management experience
  • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and use of a personal vehicle

Structure:

  • Full Time
  • Exempt
  • Starting at $63,880
