Outpatient Clinician - Substance Abuse Clinical Care

Employees in this position may be eligible for up to $5,000 in grant-funded tuition or loan assistance

We have an exciting opportunity for a clinician to join our Outpatient team. The focus of this position is to provide co-occurring individual and group therapy to clients seeking Outpatient therapy.  This position will also provide care coordination and therapy to clients receiving suboxone through our office based opioid treatment program (Spoke).  This is an ideal position for an applicant that wishes to work within a team of outpatient clinicians and medical providers providing an array of different services to a diverse population.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide co-occurring individual and group psychotherapy
  • Provide care coordination to ensure that clients have access to resources, treatment, and seamless care with other providers

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or mental health field
  • A Clinical License OR on the Roster of Non-Licensed & Noncertified Psychotherapists 
  • Minimum 1 year working in substance abuse or mental health field providing counseling and case management
  • Valid driver's license and use of a personal vehicle

Licensing Requirement Notice:

Vermont regulation mandates that if you do not hold a valid license then you must be on the Roster of Nonlicensed & Noncertified Psychotherapists before you can be hired for work in this position. If you are not yet on the Roster, please begin the process immediately to avoid delay in hiring. Note this process may take 3-5 days for in-state applications and up to several weeks for out-of-state applications. Instructions can be found on the website for the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation.

  • Starting salary is $52,002.46 (Non-Licensed), $54,285.18 (Licensed)
