On-Call Sub Flex Clinician - Mental Health and Substance Use:

Provide mental health and substance use services including home based counseling, assessment, referral, case management, and training. Advancement opportunities available following successful licensure.  Clinicians in this position work as needed with the option of being available as their schedule permits. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct service to all clients: assessment, counseling and psychotherapy, referral, consultation, education, support and case management
• Reliably participate in team and clinical meetings
• Prepare high quality clinical documentation

Requirements:

• Master's degree in a mental health field 
• On the Roster of Non-licensed and Non-certified Psychotherapists
• Valid driver's license and use of a personal vehicle
• Prior experience counseling clients with co-occurring disorders
• Knowledge of substance use treatment
• Demonstrated ability to defuse challenging situations and work in collaborative environment

Licensing Requirement Notice:

Vermont regulation mandates that if you do not hold a valid license then you must be on the Roster of Nonlicensed & Noncertified Psychotherapists before you can be hired for work in this position. If you are not yet on the Roster, please begin the process immediately to avoid delay in hiring. Note this process may take 3-5 days for in-state applications and up to several weeks for out-of-state applications. Instructions can be found on the website for the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation.

Structure:

• Substitute
• $26.67 per hour (non-licensed), $27.84 (licensed)
