Manager of Employee and Labor Relations

Establish and maintain effective Employee and Labor relations through consistent application of the Agency's policies and applicable bargaining agreements by providing day-to day support to managers and employee on a multitude of workplace issues. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provides advice and counsel to managers and employees regarding employee related matters
  • Facilitates resolution of employee issues and concerns 
  • Supports supervisors with the progressive discipline process and administration of the disciplinary policies
  • Works collaboratively to ensure consistent application and interpretation of Personnel Policies and Collective Bargaining Agreements
  • Coordinates activities related to union negotiations with agency leadership 
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Five years relevant experience within the function of employee relations preferably in a union environment

Structure:

  • Full time
  • Exempt
  • Starting at $72,238
  • We offer a competitive salary commensurate to experience
