Interventionist - Community Based - Enhanced Family Treatment
With support and guidance from our clinicians, provide a broad spectrum of community-based services designed to educate and guide skill development for caregivers and children to remediate the effects of trauma, overcome skill deficits, and promote healthy normative development. This is a unique position that provides support to children outside of the classroom and in the community. The interventionist can get creative with planning daily sessions that are fun and productive yet tailored to each child's likes and dislikes.
The Enhanced Family Treatment Interventionist has the ability to work with a sense of autonomy and structure the workday however they'd like. Work independently or with other interventionists to provide group sessions with the children.
Enhanced Family Treatment offers a high level of individualized, trauma-informed, and family-friendly mental health care. Interventionists on the Enhanced Family Treatment team receive comprehensive training in community mental health.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate constructive activities that address goals on a child's treatment plan, such as social skills or emotion regulation
- Develop and implement therapeutic interventions to ensure safe interactions
- Participate in a 24-hour pager rotation (additional stipend for on-call afterhours)
Requirements:
- Experience in a human service or care-taking field, with emphasis on children with special needs
- Valid driver's License and use of a personal vehicle
- The ability to work afternoon, evenings, and some weekends
Structure:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours/ week
- Travel within Chittenden County
- Non-traditional schedule

- Starting at $20.52 an hour
