Information Systems Manager

Applications, Coding, and Development IT Leader (AppDev)

The Information Systems (IS) Manager is a creative technical leader who envisions application and data solutions to positively impact our staff and our organization. Direct a team of professionals who care about their work, their skills, and their results. Lead projects, analyze business needs, and ensure top notch support. Work with a broad range of solutions from implementing and integrating purchased applications, leading customized solutions to fit a unique need, developing and providing analysis products, and supporting the organization's applications. Candidates must have superb communication and listening skills with a desire to learn and support the work of the Agency and our great staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct supervision of staff, maintaining and developing a highly engaged and efficient team
  • Leads application and system analysis, development, documentation and support
  • Develops project scope, goals and expectations in collaboration with Agency Leaders
  • Executes projects according to Agency PM practices, including communication, scope management, tasks and timelines, issues and risk management, and implementation
  • Creates system interfaces between internal and external applications and databases
  • Reviews improvements and solutions to meet Agency system needs that align with Agency strategy, resources, and compliance

Requirements:

  • Four years staff management
  • Four years of project and leadership experience
  • Four years of application analysis, development and implementation experience

Structure:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hrs
  • Exempt
  • Starting at $88,469
  • We offer a competitive salary commensurate to experience
