Executive Assistant

Provide day to day administrative support, with the highest degree of confidentiality, for the Howard Center Executive Leadership Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily scheduling, analyzing incoming communication, greet visitors/determining appropriate access to executive staff
  • Administrative duties: copying, filing, faxing, stocking offices, accounting/invoices, local travel for business-related errands
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, often communicating on the behalf of the executive team
  • Conduct research, reporting findings in an accurate, concise manner
  • Provide access for executive staff to Howard Center facility outside normal business hours
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, reservations, itinerary, and logistics as needed
  • Meeting room preparation

Requirements:

  • A combination of five years' experience and education will be considered

Desired:

  • Experience with board support and supporting a team of executives
  • Experience relevant to human services, executive support, legal assistant/paralegal, and business administration
  • Abilities contributing to success include but are not limited to diplomacy, confidentiality, assertiveness, reliability, flexibility, self-motivation, and professionalism
