Director of Information Technology:
Ensure effectiveness and create a competitive advantage for Howard Center within a changing health care environment by managing the Information technology departments of the Agency. The I.T. department provides and maintains a secure, reliable, high performing, and supportive infrastructure and software applications to support clinical and operational needs.
Howard Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Burlington, VT with a history dating back to 1865. Our staff of 1,500 support to more than 19,000 people each year in over 60 locations throughout Vermont. We serve children, adults, families, and communities in a range of settings with a broad array of services for mental health, developmental, and substance use needs.
Responsibilities:
- Through subordinate managers, direct and oversee operations of department responsibilities for Information Systems, Information Technology, and Data & Analytics
- Lead the technology and information practices, teams, and vendor partners with an engaged workforce focused on supporting the goals and mission of the agency
- Build and grow critical relationships to partner with internal and external leadership to understand, develop and execute technical and data plans that meet operational goals
- Conduct and/or oversee the role of the Agency's Information Security Officer
- Provide day to day leadership and work with staff to ensure a collaborative, high-performance, service-oriented work environment that promotes workplace diversity, inclusion, and cultural competency
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science
- Ten years' experience in planning, developing, and implementing information technology systems and information
- Experience in the healthcare industry and project management
- Five years' experience supervising information technology staff
- Valid driver's license, use of personal vehicle and an acceptable driving record
Structure:
- Full time
- Exempt
- Starting at $114,457.00
