Direct Support Professional Coordinator

This position supports Developmental Services and will need an awareness of hiring needs for staff working 1:1 with clients with developmental diagnoses, mental health challenges and/or medical support needs. The Direct Support Professional Coordinator will recruit, hire, on-board and provide administrative supervision to staff. This role will be working to create and implement new processes as the program grows and develops. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication and organization skills with a desire to think creatively.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative supervision of direct Substitute staff and communication regarding clinical supervision with residential leaders
  • Communicate, organize and facilitate with a wide variety of people including: supervisors, teams, new hires and direct staff
  • Ability to hire and onboard staff who will work within residential settings with clients
  • Creating and implementing sound procedures and processes across program teams
  • Good organization skills to maintain strict documentation requirements, calendars/scheduling and communication follow-up
  • Support residential leaders with safety tracking within programs, client schedules and all staff and sub scheduling

Requirements:

  • Ability to work either a Saturday or Sunday shift
  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Prior experience working with the developmental diagnosis/mental health populations
  • Ability to become proficient in electronic health records system, Microsoft Office Suite, HR/payroll system and When to Work scheduling program
  • Use of a personal vehicle with an acceptable driving record

Structure:

  • This is a full time position of 40 hours per week
  • This is a non-exempt position
  • $22.66/hr.
