Cont-Temp - School Services Senior Clinician

This role is for internal only applicants.

The School Services Senior Clinician supports the program through special projects, community engagement and Clinician support. 

Responsibilities may include the following:

  • Work with leadership team to organize events and activities
  • Develop or facilitate trainings
  • Facilitate skill building or clinical groups
  • Special projects
  • Clinician training and support  
  • Represent School Services Program in agency and community forums

Requirements:

  • Two or more years experience working in the Howard  Center School Services Program  
  • Masters Degree in a mental health discipline
  • Experience working with youth with emotional/behavioral challenges
  • A Clinical License OR on the Roster of Non-Licensed & Noncertified Psychotherapists (See Licensing Requirement Notice below)
  • Valid driver's License and use of a personal vehicle

Licensing Requirement Notice

Vermont regulation mandates that if you do not hold a valid clinical license then you must added to the Roster of Nonlicensed & Noncertified Psychotherapists before you can be hired for work in this position. If you are not yet on the Roster, please begin the process immediately to avoid delay in hiring. Note this process may take 3-5 days for in-state applications and up to several weeks for out-of-state applications. Instructions can be found on the website for the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation.

Structure:

  • This is a secondary position for a maximum of 75 hours a year 
  • This position is paid hourly, $27.79 per hour
