Provide substance use-focused, co-occurring services including Medication Assisted Therapy, assessment, referral, student assistance services, support groups and educational presentations to clients/recipients in a variety of settings, primarily office based. Other settings may include primary care offices, schools, community-based agencies, and courts.
The Howard Center's St. Albans Outpatient Program is the ADAP preferred clinic in Northwestern Vermont, and serves individuals from Franklin and Grad Isle Counties who present with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Our location has a variety of programs, including traditional OP and IOP programming, a MAT provider and Spoke programming as well as an emergency PIP program serving intoxicated individuals in conjunction with the local hospital. Vermont regulation mandates that if you do not hold a valid license then you must be on the Roster of Nonlicensed & Noncertified Psychotherapists before you can be hired for work in this position. If you are not yet on the Roster, please begin the process immediately to avoid delay in hiring. Note this process may take 3-5 days for in-state applications and up to several weeks for out-of-state applications.
