Clinician- Outpatient:
Seeking individual to fulfill a dual outpatient role that includes providing both individual therapy to participants of Reach Up, and a CBT manualized group therapy for individuals struggling with maternal depression. This position would provide mental health and substance abuse services; including outpatient counseling, group therapy, assessment/screening, referral, therapy groups, and case management to Reach-Up clients and participants in the VT MOMS PartnershipSM project.
The VT MOMS program brings mental health services within reach for over-burdened, under-resourced mothers. This new initiative is a collaborative project between Yale University, Department of Child and Family Services- Economic Services, and Howard Center. The purpose of VT MOMS is to support mothers with life stress by teaching problem solving skills, communication styles, learn how to balance stress and fun, and to connect with other mothers in the community.
Consider this position if you have a Master's degree and are on the Vermont licensure track in a mental health related field. A successful candidate will have demonstrated skills in collaboration, strong clinical expertise, flexibility, ability to prioritize tasks, independence, substance abuse knowledge, family work, systems savvy, and organizational skills.

Vermont regulation mandates that if you do not hold a valid clinical license then you must added to the Roster of Nonlicensed & Noncertified Psychotherapists before you can be hired for work in this position. If you are not yet on the Roster, please begin the process immediately to avoid delay in hiring. Note this process may take 3-5 days for in-state applications and up to several weeks for out-of-state applications. Instructions can be found on the website for the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation.
