Clinician - HC North

Join Howard Center North in an exciting, community focused position with harm reduction and community SUD team focusing on low barrier treatment and access. This unique position will have a variety of outreach and non-traditional clinical activities for an outpatient clinician. Apply if you are interested in helping members of our community with barriers to traditional treatment, working with community partners and would like to gain experience with substance use treatment.

Howard Center North covers the communities of Franklin and Grand Isle Counties and hosts a range of clinical services including co-occurring substance use focused outpatient therapy & case management and a large medication assisted treatment spoke program.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct service to clients: assessment, referral, consultation, education, support, case management
  • Reliably participate in team and clinical meetings
  • Prepare high quality clinical documentation, including authorizations for services, clinical notes, and administrative forms

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or mental health field
  • 2-3 years of relevant professional work experience
  • Must be licensed, or license eligible in the state of Vermont
  • Rostering required for pre-licensure status
  • Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record and use of personal vehicle
  • Vermont regulation mandates that individuals who are on the Roster of Non-licensed Noncertified Psychotherapists, through the Office of Professional Regulation, must be actively working towards professional licensure and be fully licensed within 5 years of Roster date of issue.

  • Annual starting salary at $54,342.57 (non-licensed) or $56,728.01 (licensed)
  • We offer a competitive salary commensurate to experience
