Clinician - Access & Intake

Join an exciting new program!  Access & Intake is an integrated and centralized intake for Howard Center. Its purpose is to provide centralized, seamless, and easy access to high quality services and resources at Howard Center.   

Provide initial assessment complete with recommendations and referrals to appropriate services.  The Clinician is trained to work across all client populations regardless of age or diagnosis.  Consider this position if you have a Master's Degree, a valid driver's license and use of a personal vehicle and are licensed/license-eligible.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide initial intake assessment to children, youth & adults regardless of diagnosis
  • Provide treatment and service recommendations
  • Provide brief treatment groups
  • Participate in treatment team meetings
  • Complete assessments and Individual Plans of Care (IPC's)

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or other related mental health field
  • Clinical License or on the Roster of Non-licensed Non-certified Psychotherapists
  • Valid driver's license and use of a personal vehicle
  • 1-2 years of experience working in the human services field
  • Experience with assessment, diagnosis and crisis intervention/de-escalation

Structure:

  • This is a full time, benefit-eligible position
  • This is a salaried position with an annual salary of $46,059.00 ($48,087.00 with Clinical License)
  • This is a Union position
