Registered Nurse - St. Albans

Provide oversight, coordination and documentation of the medical care for clients in the Franklin/Grand Isle Outpatient Substance Use clinic program.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete nursing assessments
  • Provide assistance to prescribing providers with medication management, client education of medications, harm reduction and other health related issues as needed
  • Follows program specific protocols and procedures for medication administration, ordering, storage, dispensing, etc.
  • Direct care including first aid and assessment of symptoms or changes in physical health, injections and/or collection of specimens (including urine screens or phlebotomy).

Requirements:

  • Associates degree
  • One to two years of post-RN licensure clinical nursing experience
  • Unencumbered Vermont RN license or eligible for licensure in VT
  • Valid driver's license and use of a personal vehicle

Structure:

  • This is a full time position (37.5 hours)
  • This is a Union position
  • This is an exempt position
