Medical Assistant:

Facilitate patient care delivery at the Chittenden Clinic by supporting medical providers in both clinical and administrative capacities.  The Chittenden Clinic is a large Opioid Treatment Program in Chittenden County, serving 1,000 patients. 

Responsibilities:

• Triage and manage patient questions
• Prepare patients for office and/or telehealth visits
• Obtain vital signs & verify medication lists
• Communicate medical/health information between patients and medical providers
• Manage lab results
• Supports use of office, electronic health record, and other technology by program staff
• Maintains departmental records 

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program
• One year of Medical Assistant experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Structure:

• Union
• Full-time (37.5 hours)
• Annual salary starting at $41,000.38
• We offer a competitive salary commensurate to experience
