Join Vermont's globally recognized opiate treatment program at the Chittenden Clinic in South Burlington.  You will work under Vermont's opiate use disorder expert, Dr. John Brooklyn, who incorporates new and innovative methods of treatment into daily practice.

We are seeking a full-time LPN who will be responsible for safely dispensing methadone and buprenorphine products while maintaining all nursing dispensary operations. 

Responsibilities:

• Administer methadone and buprenorphine products to patients in a methadone treatment program in accordance with required schedule
• Conduct patient education of safe methadone practice, harm reduction and general health issues relevant to individuals with opiate addiction and/or other substance abuse problems
• Update physician and/or nurse practitioner regularly about patient status and methadone dose
• Contribute to the assessment and nursing care planning processes

• Develop and implement patient plans with physician's and/or nurse practitioner's guidance.

Requirements:

• Associates degree
• LPN
• 1 year of experience in nursing
