Diversity Coordinator

As a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) team member, implement the Agency's strategic diversity, inclusion and equity objectives, while coordinating DEI programs for all levels of staff. Consider this 20 hour, benefits eligible position, if you are motivated to work on culture changes for a human services agency.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in DEI Cabinet meetings, Sub-group meetings, and area DEI Affinity Groups
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings
  • Coordinate and implement tasks and duties related to DEI initiatives approved within the DEI Cabinet
  • Track and report on DEI initiatives, staff learning and development, trainings and community events
  • Coordinate and facilitate Agency diversity celebrations
  • Provide on-going reporting to the DEI Cabinet
  • Create partnerships within the agency and community at large that promotes the Agency's commitment to diversity

Requirements:

  • A combination of experience and education
  • Two years' experience in an administrative capacity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and use of Social Media
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Open to giving and receiving feedback as part of a team

Structure:

  • Part-time (20 hours/week)
  • Non-exempt
  • Starting at $22.01 an hour
  • We offer a competitive salary commensurate to experience
